#ASC2016 will be held in the heart of Brisbane City at the Queensland University of Technology’s Room Three Sixty. The street address is 21A Gardens Point Rd, Brisbane QLD 4000.

Getting there

Driving – Head to 21A Gardens Point Rd, Brisbane QLD 4000. Pay & Display parking (maximum stay 4 hours) is available 24 hours/7 days in the QUT Short Term Car Park under the freeway on Gardens Point Road, off Alice Street. Daytime parking availability is limited during the university semester.

Public transport – The venue is a brief walk from the centre of Brisbane. Plan your trip with Translink’s Journey Planner.

  • The Parklands at South Bank – a pristine haven of natural beauty, interspersed with chance discoveries. Wander through the bougainvillea-covered Arbour and explore the cobbled laneways of Stanley Street Plaza before enjoying a spot of alfresco dining, or bring your own feast and relax at the picnic spots. Don’t forget your swimsuit if you’d like to take a dip in Brisbane’s city beach.
  • Grey and Little Stanley Streets – A number of Brisbane’s most popular restaurants and fashion boutiques are located on Grey Street, and Little Stanley Street which it runs parallel to The South Bank Parklands. Cinemas are also located on Grey Street, along with two five star hotels.
  • Queensland Cultural Centre – The Queensland Performing Arts Centre; The Queensland Museum and Science Centre; The Queensland Art Gallery; The Queensland Gallery of Modern Art; and The State Library of Queensland.
